Based on available funding, the board supports one scholarship per academic year to a qualified graduate level student who is enrolled in an educational program leading to a graduate degree in biological anthropology or forensic anthropology. The Ellis R. Kerley Forensic Sciences Foundation Scholarship is awarded based on character, personal and academic merit and commitment. Merit is demonstrated through leadership in school, civic and extracurricular activities, academic achievement, and motivation to serve and succeed.
When offered, the award typically includes the following:
$2,500 US dollars* to support the student's academic endeavors.
Invitation to the Kerley Foundation/Anthropology section reception on Thursday evening (with opportunity to speak and share your research).
